Paducah Sun, Sunday, January 3, 1971 - LA CENTER. Ky., Jan. 2 - Funeral services for Earl (Bush) Abell, 74, Jackson, Mich., will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jones Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Mike McGarvey and Henry Hogue will officiate. Burial will be in Oscar Cemetery.
Mr. Abell died at 2 p.m. Wednesday at his residence in Jackson, Mich.
A former resident of the Oscar community in Ballard County, he was a member-of the Sycamore Baptist Church in Jackson, Mich, and a World War I veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Abell, Jackson, MIch.; two sons, Bill Abell, Bandana and James Abell, Dallas, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Margie Ellison, Jackson, Mich.; two brothers, Edwin Abell, Wickliffe and Lyman Abell, Paducah; a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Blake, Florida; nine grandchilden.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
