A.J. White, 68, died Sept. 21 at home.
He was a native of Candler County and a longtime resident of Savannah. He retired from Kaiser, InterMarine USA and A&W Coatings. He was a member of Monterey Park Church of God.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Katie Lee White of Savannah; two sons, Ted and Arnold White, both of Savannah; three daughters, Faye Snyder, Janice Jeffers nd Elaine McLendon, all of Savannah; his mother, Emma Mae White of Savannah; three sisters, Delores Thomas of Columbus, Ohio, Jewel Thompson of Ellabell and Bonnett Cox of Savannah; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Monterey Park Church of God in Faulkville, burial in Bethel Cemetery on Little Neck Road. - Savannah Now, Sept 1998
