Thomas E. Adkisson, 66, of Milliken, died Oct. 17, 2000, at the Hospice of Northern Colorado inpatient unit.

He was born Jan. 11, 1934, in Milliken, to Thomas and Edith (Kaiser) Adkisson.

On Nov. 27, 1955, he married Margaret Hessler in Milliken.

Mr. Adkisson taught wood shop for four years at the Lone Star School north of Otis and 27 years at E.C. Best Junior High School in Fallon, Nev.

Survivors are his wife, two daughters, four sisters, two brothers, two grandchildren, and a great-grandson. His parents and a sister, Helen Tittle, are deceased.

Graveside memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
