On Tuesday, November 1, 1983, of Oxon Hill, Md., beloved wife of the late James C. Action; devoted and beloved mother of Mary R. and Claude V. of Oxon Hill, Lewis J. of Accokeek and Mercer S. of Jamestown, N.Y. and the late James F. and Bernard R. Acton. Also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
