Glova M. Weaver, 86, of rural Macy and rural Akron, passed away 2:19 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at Woodbridge Health Care, Logansport.

Born on June 5, 1928, in Jasper County she was the daughter of Odos and Bessie (Timm) Poisel. On Dec. 11, 1954, in Tracy, she married Lloyd M. Weaver. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2008.

Glova was a homemaker as well as working with her husband on the farm. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Rochester and the Luther-Anns church group.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon and husband Kent Mills, Denver; two sons, Larry and wife Brenda Weaver, and John Pope; four grandchildren, Chrystal Vandermark, Nathan Vandermark, Travis Weaver and Michael Weaver; and seven great-grandchildren, Eric, Emily, Bailey, Isabelle, Joscelin, Maddex and Mason; and sister Marietta Morrell, Buffalo, Minn.

Glova was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Weaver, her sister Doris Watson and brothers Charles, Dallas, and Fred Poisel.

Her funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at Hartzler Funeral Home 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, with Rev. Herbert Gerken officiating.

Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at the funeral home.

Burial is at Athens Cemetery, Athens.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Rochester.
