Mary Anderson Berry, 97, died Monday, August 17, 1998. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Moores Funeral Home with burial in Memory Hill Cemetery, Dr. Harold Lawrence will officiate.
Mrs. Berry was a homemaker. A native of Anderson, Tenn., she lived in Georgia for 79 years. She was the daughter of Minnie Lee Arnold and Victor Sewell Anderson. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was affectionately known as "Granny".
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Berry. Survivors include a son, Malvin Berry, of Milledgeville; two daughters, Oudia Williamson and Lena Watkins, both of Milledgeville; a sister, Lorayne Durham of Chattanooga, Tenn., 26 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
