A retired teacher with East Baton Rouge Parish and Ascension Parish school boards and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at The Guest House. She was 95 and a native of Gonzales. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd., from 1 p.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Martin. Entombment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Survived by three daughters, Joann B. Oneal and Jewell Marie B. Pourciau, both of Baton Rouge, and Sister Paula Marie Blouin, S.S.N.D., of Brandon, Miss.; four sons and daughters-in-law, James Joseph and Sylvia Blouin, Mathew "Buck" and Frances Blouin, Michael and DiAnne Blouin and Paul and Linda Blouin; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Nestor Gautreau and Olive Braud; husband, Fellman Paul Blouin; and numerous brothers and sisters. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and Third Order of Mary.
