He married Crissie McCleary and they had 4 children. After he died, she had to put the children in an orphanage as she couldn't work and care for them in her situation. They were in the Orphanage of the House of God Holiness, in College Mound, Macon County, Missouri. They were in the orphanage several years before she re-married and was able to bring them home with her again.
