Bernard E. Forbeck, Jr., 88 of Brazil, passed away at 6:15 AM on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on January 28, 1925 to Bernard E. Forbeck, Sr. and Floy M. Orman Forbeck. Bernard retired from Columbia Enamel as an electrician after 46 years of service. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Bryan & husband Wayne, and Rebecca J. Halstead & husband Harry. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Tammy Jo Lindsay, Stephen Michael Pruitt, Johnie E. Bryan, Rodney W. Bryan, and Randall W. Bryan, as well as seven great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild. Other survivors include a sister, Margaret Ellen Donnenhoffer, and a brother-in-law, Carl Little, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Little Forbeck, one son, Randall J. Forbeck, and by two sisters, Loretta Lynn Little and Mary Alice Lusk. Funeral services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM, with Father Bernie LaMontagne officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
