Jennie Mae Shank Adwell, 96, of Glasgow died Nov. 1, 2000, at Caverna Memorial Hospital. The Barren County native was a retired Kentucky Pants Co. employee and a member of Glasgow Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Cyrus Shank and Henrietta Miller Shank. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral home with burial in Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home. Survivors include 10 grandchildren, James D. Houk of Georgia, James M. Adwell of Owensboro, James R. Bobby Adwell of California, Charles W. Gordon of Louisville, Barry Russell Gordon and Patrick L. Adwell, both of Glasgow, Terry Lee Gordon of Hopkinsville, Jeff Gordon of Bowling Green, Teresa Adwell Bailey of Edmonton and Panquitta Adwell Lyons of Cave City; 15 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
