Mrs. J. E.Bauman, nee Myrtle De Bruin was born at Pella, la. on January 80, 1889. She was the daughter of B. De Bruin and Dirkie Scheppers.
On Sept. 30, 1926 she was united in marriage with John E. Bauman and together they have continued to. live in the Pella, Prairie City vicinity all their married life. Shemade profession of her faith in the Second Reformed Church atPella and at her death was one of the church's faithful members, having always taken her partasan active member in various capacities.
Throughout her time of illness she has manifested Christian love to all when she could.
Services were conducted on, Thursday, August 30, 1966 from the Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. with the Dr. Thomas Boslooper in charge. Mr. Bob Klein sang a favorite hymn of Mrs.Bauman's "What a Friend We have in Jesus" accompanied by Mrs. Hospers Kuyper at the organ.
Casket Bearers were Lambert Beyers, Arthur Klein, Andrew Hoeksema, Dr. J. M. Cook, Harry Grond and Walter De Kock.
Burial was made in Oakwood Cemetery.
