Marion William Click, 82, of Modesto died Saturday at Memorial Medical Center.
Marion was born October 27, 1922 to John William Click and Myrtle Leander Harkey.
Mr. Click was a native of Texas. He lived in Modesto 39 years and previously lived in Planada 18 years. He was a heavy equipment operator and worked in construction. He was a member of Operating Engineers Union Local 3, Masonic Lodge 749 of Merced and North Modesto Church of God. He was an Army Corps veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Click of Modesto; son, Bill Click of Modesto; brothers, T.J. Click of Collinsville, Texas; Claud Reece Click of Lufkin, Texas, and Bill Click of Pasadena, Texas; sisters: Ella Reed, Sally Wallace, Doris Arnett and Wanda Stowe; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe H. Click.
A memorial service will be at 10am Saturday at North Modesto Church of God.
