She was a member of the Church of Christ in Green Forest and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and living on the farm.
Virginia is survived by one son, Marvin Winford Negelein of Berryville, AR; two daughters, Edna Lois Short of Green Forest, AR and Geneva Fern and husband Steven Mitchell of Berryville, AR; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene Taylor and wife Edna of Goshen, AR and Carl Taylor of Green Forest, AR; four sisters, Rosa Mae Thomas, Loita Haines, Thelma Hughes and Bessie Cook all of Green Forest, AR; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and loved ones.
On July 22, 1945, Virginia was united in marriage with Albert Negelein who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, Robert and Rosa Taylor; one son, Bobbie Rex Negelein; one son-in-law, Howard Short; two brothers, Jay Taylor and Thomas Taylor; and one sister, Nina Taylor.
Memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Green Forest Church of Christ with Brother Randall Hunter officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the Ward Cemetery Fund, c/o Anstaff Bank, P.O. Box 1900, Green Forest, Arkansas 72638.
