died June 10, 1987, at his home.
Born June 7. 1921, in Wallace
County, he married Yvonne
McGowen, Jan 31, 1969, at Johnson.
He was a retired salesman and was
a resident of the Ulysses area since
1968.
He was a member of the Church of
Christ, Los Animas, Colo.
Survivors: wife of the home;
daughters Carrie Foster, Johnson,
Mary Thaxton, Mailene Pryor,
Melinda Metzger; brother, Raymond,
Las Animas; sister, Ruth Boeka,
Canon City, Colo; and mother Carrie
Foster, Las Animas.
Graveside service will be at 2
p.m. today at Johnson Cemetery,
the Rev. Greg Waggoner. Friends
may call until noon today at Phillips
Mortuary, Ulysses. Memorials may
go to the donors choice.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Willard Stafford presiding. Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Cremation has taken place.

Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, in care of the mortuary. Personal condolences may be sent to www.elliottmortuary.com
