Memorial service for Mrs. Linda Kay Mings, 64 of Nacogdoches, were held at 11:00 am on Saturday January 26, 2013 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches, Tx.

Mrs. Mings was born May 31, 1948 to Lula Alice Walker and Homer Haskell Lee in Raymondville, Tx. and passed away Tuesday January 22, 2013 in Nacogdoches, TX after a brief illness.

Linda had lived in the East Texas area for several years and had worked as a nursing assistant in nursing homes. She was a member of Harvest Point Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Isaac Mings, of Nacogdoches; daughters Tommie Watson,and Tiffanie Thomas, of Nacogdoches; and son, Michael Watson of Nacogdoches; sister Brenda Means; grandchildren, Wendy and Jeremy Culver, Christie King, Paul Buchanan, Michael Watson, Felisha Watson, Ashley Watson, Trevor Thomas, Gary Thomas and Haylee Thomas, nine great-grandchidren and several step children.
