Cynthia B. Matton
     Cynthia (Boas) Matton - 72, of Perkasie, PA formerly of Mooers, NY, was called home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA. She joined her husband of 34 years, Gaylord E. Matton, in paradise.
     Cynthia was born in Plattsburgh, New York to the late Norman H. and the late Frances F. (Averill) Boas.
     Cynthia graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She received a Master’s Degree in Education from SUNY Plattsburgh. Cynthia was employed as a Teacher for the NAC School district for 36 years, where she met her husband. She was a member of Mooers Camp Meeting Association in Mooers, NY, where she attended every summer until this year.
     Cynthia was a member of Mooers Wesleyan Church in Mooers, NY for more than 30 years where she was involved in many different ministries. Most recently she attended Faith Baptist Church in Sellersville, PA.
     Cynthia loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially attending their after school events. She enjoyed traveling and was able to fulfill her and her late husband’s dream of traveling cross country. Cynthia often supported church missions, enjoyed reading, and helping people in need.
     She is survived by three sons, Jonathan E. Matton and wife Madeline of Mooers, NY, James H. Matton and wife Joan of Perkasie, PA and Joel H. Matton and wife Jennifer of Hatboro, PA; 9 Grandchildren: Giselle (wife of Jake Atkinson), Elias, Christopher, Shane, Julia, Isabella, Jadyn, Lillian and Jace and 3 Great-Grandchildren: Aubree, Alayna and Amarah.
     A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Mooers Wesleyan Church, 149 Maple St, Mooers, NY 12958. A 4:00 pm service will follow.
     Burial will take place at Union Cemetery of Mooers, NY.
