Mrs. Evelyn Dwynell Chapman Oliver, age 83 of Cherry Log, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Oliver was a member of Boardtown Church of Christ and a graduate of Ellijay High School Class of 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Fields Chapman and Lucy Emaline Cornwell Chapman, husband Charles Eugene "Gene" Oliver, daughter Sandy Oliver, sisters Jeanette Chapman, Violet Chapman Ward, Jewell Chapman Tidwell, Nellie Chapman Holloway and Essa Chapman Holloway.
Visitation for Mrs. Oliver will be held on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 from 4:00-9:00pm at Logan Funeral Home and Chapel in Ellijay, Georgia.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00pm on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 at Boardtown Church of Christ in Cherry Log, Georgia with Minister David Mullins and Minister Jere Via officiating. Interment will follow in the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery.
