Ruth "Kelley" Aldridge Martin, 57, of West Lafayette, died at 8:50 AM today [Thursday, June 17, 1982] in St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been ill since April and was admitted to the hospital Monday from Lafayette Healthcare Center.
Born near Attica, she was reared there and at Lafayette. She graduated from Attica High School and attended Business College. She was formerly employed as a waitress at various local restaurants, including the old Flame and College Inn.
Surviving are a daughter, Gaye Martin of West Lafayette, with whom she had made her home; two brothers, Noble R. Aldridge of Muncie and Donald Aldridge of Florida; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wands of Lafayette; and two grandchildren.
