Born near Attica, she was reared there and at Lafayette. She graduated from Attica High School and attended Business College. She was formerly employed as a waitress at various local restaurants, including the old Flame and College Inn.
Surviving are a daughter, Gaye Martin of West Lafayette, with whom she had made her home; two brothers, Noble R. Aldridge of Muncie and Donald Aldridge of Florida; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wands of Lafayette; and two grandchildren.
