Augusta B. Metz Lester, 74, died early Tuesday [Feb. 13, 1990] in her West Lafayette home. Born Oct. 31, 1915, at Indianapolis, she was a longtime resident of the Lafayette area. [She had been married to Leo James Lester.]
Mrs. Lester was an employee of the former Wabash Winery in Lafayette. She had attended Congress Street United Methodist Church, and was a member of VFW Post 1143 Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn McFall of Lafayette; and a son, Robert E. Moore of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Lee Lester.
