Mr. Haley was a clerk at the Lafayette Post Office. He served with the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of First Christian Church, Kiwanis International, Knights of Pythian Lodge 51, and American Postal Workers Union.
Surviving with his widow are one son, Sgt. Marcus D. Haley, stationed in Germany; one daughter, Juanita (Mrs. Roger) Corson of Monticello; one brother, Elmer F. Haley of Indianapolis; one sister, Marie (Mrs. Leonard) Frazier of Bloomington, IL; and two grandchildren.
