Delorma was born to Samuel Wisner and Elizabeth (Richardson) Wisner (1812-1860). He enlisted in the Civil War in 1862 and was discharged in 1865. He was a farmer. On 1 Jan 1859 in Williams County, Ohio he married Charlotte L Whaley. His children were Lenora Elizabeth b. 1859, Maudana (1861-1943), Delorma b. 1863, Frank b. 1867, Minnie Millie (1868-1955), Myrta b. 1873, Arthur Erwin b. 1878 and Alla May b. 1879. He died in Sherman Township, Osceola County of old age.
