Robert C. Reinhagen, Sr. 76 of Ridge Road, New Durham New Hampshire died Friday. He was the husband of Marjorie (Mendes) Reinhagen.
Born in Teaneck, New Jersey he was the son of the late Gustave and Eliza (Smith) Reinhagen. He has resided in New Durham, New Hampshire since 1979, having previously resided in Assonet Massachusetts.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Coast Guard. He owned and operated several businesses in Assonet, including Reinhagen's Market and Reinhagen's Transportation.
He was one of the first E.M.T.'s in Massachusetts and was a long-time member of the Freetown Fire Department.
He was a member of the Farmington New Hampshire Advent Christian Church, a Mason with Fraternal Lodge No. 71 in Farmington New Hampshire and a member of the Bektash Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S. of Concord New Hampshire, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry S.J. USA in Orlando Florida, a life member of the V.F.W. in Milton and a member of the American Legion in Farmington, honored member of the Coast Guard Combat Veterans Association, member Northeast Chapter Destroyer-Escort Sailors Association and a member of the Rochester New Hampshire Senior Citizens, Inc.
He was predeceased by his first wife Ruth (Morrison) Reinhagen and a sister Marion Elaine Harrison.
