Annie was born in Indian Territory before OK became a state. Her father made the OK Land Run. She had a sister die of diptheria and then her mother died in childbirth later that year. Her father took the three children back to Kansas and he returned to OK until he had finished the requirements to claim the homestead. Her death certificate states she is buried in Wesley Chapel in Mound City, KS.
