JOSEPH BENNETT BELL, of Pratt ville, Ala., was born Nov. 18, 1859, at Greenville, Ala. He was a son of John Ezekiel and Georgia Anna (Bennett) Bell; John Ezekiel Bell, who was a minister of the Baptist church, was born in Butler county, Ala., on the 17th of July, 1830; his vocation called him to different sections of the State of Alabama, but the greater part of his life was spent in Greenville ; he married Georgia Anna, daughter of Sylvester Bennett, a native of New York State, and a manufacturer of iron products, at New Orleans, Nov. 22, 1854; he died in 1892.
