The attending physician, Dr. I. L. Reed of Loretto, Kentucky said his cause of death was " hemorrhage of the lungs. His mother was the informant. O'Neil, Edelen, and Smith of Lebanon, Kentucky were this child's undertaker. James was buried here on March 1, 1939. The grave register says the location of his grave is unknown.
