Born May 22, 1906, in Cisne to Jonas F. and Sarah Yocum West, she married Adam Hurst on May 30, 1925, in Peoria. He died in 1987. She also was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Pierson of Peoria; and two sons, Thomas of Denver and Leon of Novato, Calif.
She was a clerk for Bergner's department store, until she retired in 1954.
Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
