Mrs. Helen P. Aaron, 80, a resident of Valley, AL passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM EST at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Langley officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 AM EST prior to the funeral. A private burial will be held at Resthaven Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Marshall Aaron; nephews, Ellis (June) Jenkins of Opelika, AL; Michael (Cathy) Parker and J. R. (Cathy) Parker both of Georgia; nieces, Glenda (Tex) Eubanks of Dadeville, AL; Ruby (Robert) Whitler of Georgia and Geraldine Cichran of Florida and several cousins. Mrs. Aaron was preceded in death by the late William Whitfield Parker and Laura Mae Burdell Parker. She was born in Lee County, AL and worked for over 37 years in the Fairfax Towel Department. Her church membership was with Johnson Chapel Baptist Church.
