Kenneth Wayne Helzer, 79, of Graham, Mo., died on December 10, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital and Health Services, Maryville, Mo.
He was born October 7, 1927, in Graham, to Clifford and Bernice Westfall Helzer. He was a 1945 graduate of Graham High School.
On July 14, 1952, he married Norma Jean Dicken, in Bentonville, AR.
Mr. Helzer served his country in the US Army during World War II. He was a farmer.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Lion's Club, both in Graham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Alice Boyer and stepmother, Marjorie Helzer.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Helzer, of the home, son, Duane Helzer and wife, Joyce, Graham; granddaughter, Carey Jackson, Parnell; grandson, Jared Alan Helzer, Graham; four sisters, Jeannie Allen, Kansas City; Louise Snowberger, Delhi, LA; Dorothy Gubser, Shenandoah, IA, and Lois Barton, Gallatin; step-sister, Louise Harris, Archie; brother, Forrest Helzer, Florissant and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held on December 14, 2006, at the Graham United Methodist Church.
Burial: Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham, Mo.
Arrangements: Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Mo.
