Sedgewickville--Mrs. Rada Thiele of Sedgewickville, 87 years old, died at 3 this morning at a nursing home in Lutesville.
Mrs. Thiele was born March 9, 1879, at Sedgewickville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Statler.
On July 17, 1899, she was married to Eli Thiele. He died May 10, 1956.
She was a lifelong resident of the Sedgewickville community where the couple farmed until they retired in 1952, moving to Sedgewickville. Since 1962 she resided at the nursing home.
Surviving are a son, Hubert Thiele, Sedgewickville; one foster son, Paul Statler; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Thiele was a member of the Sedgewickville Lutheran Church where funeral services will be held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Fred Heckathorn officiating.
Burial is to be in the Sedgewickville Cemetery.
The body is at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson, and will be taken to the church at 12:20 Saturday.
