She was married to A. Forest Ingraham on December 25, 1901, at her parents’ home in Oxford. She had lived in the vicinity of Brooks and Oxford all her life until she moved to their winter home near Madison of this year. They had planned to return to their farm home for the summer as soon as her health permitted. She was a loyal and faithful member, trustee, and officer of the Brooks Congregational Church during the years it was an active church. She capably assisted in all community affairs and gave generously and unselfishly of her meager strength to any and all in times of need, sorrow, and illness. She leaves to mourn her departure her devoted husband, two sons, Forest Ray, Seattle, Washington, Wendell Reid, Oxford, her daughter, Vyria Jeannette Frisch, Madison; one grandson William Ray, Seattle, Washington; three granddaughters, Barbara Iris, Connie May and Mary Jane, Oxford; one sister, Mary Jones, Vera Dale, Washington; six brothers, Will, Mason City, Iowa; John, West Bend, Iowa; Jesse, Anoka, Minnesota; Herbert, Silverton, Oregon, formerly of Easton and Friendship, Wisconsin; Earl Oxford; and Ray, Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, Two brothers, John William, and Fred Hugh, and two sisters, Alice May, and Lulu Ellen Reid Tuttle, Madison, who passed away March 1st, 1939. Pallbearers were two nephews, Selwyn Tuttle, Madison, and Harold Reid, Oxford, and her cousins Ernest and Leon Reid, Oxford, and Verne and Merle Hume, Moundville. Assisting bearers at Madison were Selywn Tuttle, Robert Dunn, T. C. Peterson, and Lewis Rowell. Services were held at the Frisch residence at 9:45 conducted by Dr. George M. Hunt, Pastor Emeritus of Christ Presbyterian Church with a hymn “Lend Kindly Light” by Charlotte Newton. Services at Oxford Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. were conducted by Rev. Nelson of the Westfield and Oxford Presbyterian Churches, and hymns, “Rock of Ages”, and “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” were sung by Mrs. Laura Riley and Mrs. Hattie Mitchell, accompanied by Miss Helen Anderson.
