Peggy J. Webb, age 81, of Bethalto, Illinois (formerly of McLeansboro, Illinois) passed away at 5:30 pm Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Jerseyville Manor in Jerseyville, Illinois.
She was born on April 4, 1933 in Delafield, IL, the daughter of Paul and Leila (McDaniel) Epperson.
She married Charles Webb on August 17, 1951. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1991.
Peggy was a nurse’s aide at Alton Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Bethalto. She enjoyed camping and traveling in her later years.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jerry and Carol Webb of Alton, Richard Webb of Florissant, MO, Leta Fumagalli of Bethalto and Jane Hansel and her companion Robin Meletti of Holiday Shores; five grandchildren, Mike and Angela Fumagalli, Marie Fumagalli, Denise Rodgers, Christopher Webb and Nicole Molkenbur; three great grandchildren, Taylor Fumagalli, Madison Ilseman and Stephanie Lane. She is also survived by her devoted companion, Ken Owens of Bethalto.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Hansel, daughter-in-law, JoRee Webb and a brother, Donald Epperson.
