Robert E Hixon, 69, died Friday morning at 7:45 o'clock at the Wilson County Hospital. He had been ill about six months with a complication of heart trouble and dropsy.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at three o'clock from Harrison chapel, east of Altoona, and were in charge of the Rev. J. A. Demoss of Thayer. Burial was in Harrison Cemetery.
Surviving relatives include four children, Earl Hixon, Mrs. Edna James and George Hixon, all of Neodesha and Harrison Hixon of Arizona. Mrs. Hixon died about ten years ago. One brother, W. H. Hixon, resides at Thayer, Kansas - Altoona Tribune.
