Barbara Jean Maatman, 49, of Oakwood Street, Morgantown, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, at home. She was born Feb. 12, 1950, in Saginaw, Mich., daughter of the late Alex and Margaret Mahoney Mikoleizik, of Saginaw. She attended St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. She was previously employed by Ruby Memorial Hospital in the radiology department. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Maatman; one son, Benjamin Douglas Maatman, of Morgantown; one daughter and spouse, Angela Maatman and Mike Chilcutt, of Greencastle, Pa; one brother, Robert Mikoleizik, of Saginaw; one sister, Jo Ann Mikoleizik, of Saginaw; two granddaughters, Emily and Cassandra Chilcutt, of Greencastle, Pa. Cremation service will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. Friends may call at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Star City, from 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, until the 8 p.m. memorial service, with the Rev. Carl E. Bauer and the Rev. Ronald M. McCauley officiating. Donations: Children's Defense Fund, 25 E. Street N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001
