Dollie Dennis, age 85, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (September 27, 2014) at her home in Leitchfield.

She was born on August 4, 1929 in Hart Co., KY, the daughter of the late Evan and Ida Thompson Taylor.

She was a Housewife who loved spending time with her children, canning, going to yard sales and watching Dancing with The Stars. She was a member of the Little Flock General Baptist Church and attended the Hanging Rock Baptist Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlson Dennis, four brothers, Andy, Roscoe, Herbert and Cleveland Dennis, and three sisters, Mamie Jaggers, Lilly Jones, and Berttie Rittenberry.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (September 29, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Cub Run Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
