and had these children: Betty, Margie and Geneva J., Warren, Jeanette and Maxine.
S. Mabel Arthur, 92, of Grantsville, died Monday, July 15, 1996, Care
Haven of Belmont.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late U.S. Grant and
Canzada Goldsmith Hickman. She was a homemaker ind member of Calhoun
General Hospital Auxiliary and First Baptist Church of Grantsville.
Surviving are one son, Warren Arthur of Vienna; two daughters,
Janette Kerby of Norton, Ohio, and Maxine Weaver of Tucson, Ariz.; 21
grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Arthur, three
daughters, Betty Arthur, Margie Arthur and Geneva J. Arthur, five
brothers; and five sisters.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev.
James Pearson officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery,
Grantsville.
