Dan M. Dunkle Sr., 72, a 65-year resident of Hinsdale, died July 7 at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.
Mr. Dunkle was born April 13, 1936 in Cleveland, the son of the late Harry and Helen. He was retired from Marshall Field & Co. and a member of the Union League Club of Chicago and Hinsdale Golf Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phebe (nee Neill) and his brother, Richard.
He is survived by his sons, Dan Jr., and Andrew; his daughter, Rebecca (Noureddine) Moulfarha; and his granddaughter, Phebe Bahija.
A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15 at Grace Episcopal Church, 120 E. First St., Hinsdale, with interment in Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook. Arrangements were handled by Anthony P. Cappetta Funeral Services, Inc. in Lisle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1200, Chicago IL 60601.
