WEST CONCORD -- A memorial service for Mary Ellen Espenson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in West Concord, with the Rev. Kurt Farrell officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Espenson, 40, of West Concord, died Wednesday (June 14, 2006) at her home.

Mary Ellen Chicos was born June 23, 1965, in Owatonna. She was reared in West Concord, where she graduated from high school. On Sept. 22, 1984, she married Douglas Espenson. She worked at Rightway Packaging. Following that, she worked for Hayfield Windows, Hidden Creek Golf Course and Dodge Center Golf Course. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, fishing, taking nature walks, going to garage sales and antiquing.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brent and Nathan, both of West Concord; her mother, Joanne Knudson Chicos of West Concord; and six siblings, Patty (Mike) Hortop of Rochester, Pam (Dave) Thomas, Vincent Steph Chicos and Jeffery Chicos, all of West Concord, Diane Hortop of Owatonna and Matthew Chicos of Dodge Center.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
