Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Ernest "Jake" and Victoria (Garabedian) Del Bonis, she lived in Warwick for 25 years. Mrs. Allen had worked for Textron Inc. of Providence for eight years as an executive search manager, training presidents and vice presidents for the Textron Group. She was executive secretary to the president of ITT Grinell, Providence, for 10 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Cheryl Newberry and Michele Allen, both of Warwick; a son, Scott Allen of Boston; a sister, Paula Marie DeAngelis of Johnston and a grandson.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, with a service at the Armenian Euphrates Evangelical Church, Franklin Street, Providence. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
