Loyd Pense, 91 , of Winslow, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Fayetteville, AR.
He was born December 20, 1922 in Winfrey Valley to the late Harvey and Mary (Reed) Pense.
He was a self employed fruit plant farmer in Winfrey Valley and a member of the Chester Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dean Pense.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Pense-Reed Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 6;00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include his wife Violet Pense of the home; two daughters, Diane Faulkner of Winslow and Denett Ralston of Mountainburg; five sons, Don Pense of Mountainburg, Darrell Pense of Winslow, Dwight Pense and Doug Pense both of Mountainburg and Loyd Dixon Pense of Winslow; 30 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scott Pense, Corey Ralston, Drew Pense, William Faulkner, Rodney Kimes and Harvey Pense.
