Daniel H. Stone, 84, of Kissimmee, Fla, formerly of Fairmont, went to be with the Lord on Monday (Dec. 18, 2006) after a long illness.
Born in Silica on July 19, 1922, Dan graduated from Fairmont Senior High, was a Veteran of World War II serving in the Navy and worked at Owens-Illinois for 36 years.
Dan was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Kissimmee.
The son of the late Bruce and Edna McIntyre Stone, Dan is survived by his loving wife, Dorothea Stone of Kissimmee; daughter, Judy Woychic of Fairmont; son, Randy Stone of Winter Springs, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Along with Dan’s parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Alan; a daughter, Cindy Lu; four brothers; and two sisters.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, at Bible Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation to a great living organization, Hospice.
