Lizzie Dodd Kite wed Joe Kite in nov 1902 in Milam County, Tx. They eloped by riding a mule to Tracy a now vanished community.She was living in her father's home in Sand Grove which is also a now vanished community. Her father was Louis Taylor Dodd(1843-1908) of Alabama and Sand Grove, Milam CO. and her mother was Victoria Asenath Collins Dodd ( 1854-1920) of Ala. and Hollis, Oklahoma. Lizzie was 6 feet tall, graceful with light brown hair and green eyes.
