Blanche C. McClain, 71, of Valencia, died at 6:20 a.m. Friday at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. Born Aug. 30, 1920, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Harry and Julia Seighman Leas. She was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills, where she was also a member of the Holy Sepulcher Smiling Seniors.
She is survived by her husband, Fenton "Slim" McClain, to whom she was married for 54 years; a son, Daniel McClain of Cochranton; and a brother, Harry Leas of Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents.
