C. L. HARRIS, 83, DIES THIS A.M.
Curtis L. Harris, 83, 29 1/2 Arthur Ave. died this morning in Cortland County Hospital after a short illness. A carpenter by trade he has been retired for several years. Born June 14, 1870 in Willet he was the son of Charles and Mary Tenant Harris. He was a member of the Homer Ave. Methodist Church. Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora Davis Harris; a brother, Bert Harris, Florida; two cousins, Leon and Nina Pember, Willet, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Beard Memorial Home. Dr. Marvin Utter, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Willet. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 Thursday evening. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
