Tonsey Ester Watt, 82, Eldon, died Saturday at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics. She was born Nov. 20, 1908, in Linn Creek, a daughter of Robert A. and Bertha E. Stokes Wood. She was married June 20, 1927, in Camden County to Ralph H. Watt, who died Feb. 11, 1966.
She lived in Camden County before moving to Eldon in 1927. She was a homemaker and a member of the Barnett Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, David Watt, Eldon; one daughter, Phyllis Bond, Olean; three sisters, Vera McMillan, Rocky Mount, Geneva Scott, Eldon, and Amy Huffman, Versailles; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Griswold-Kays Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. George Duckworth will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Park, Barnett. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
