Moville Mail, page : Mrs. D.C. Bleasdell passed away suddenly Monday forenoon. Although she had been in delicate health for a number of years and had become worse recently, her death was unexpected. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon when services were conducted by Rev. O.J. Bogard in the U.B. church. Interment was made in Arlington Cemetery. The pallbearers were Andrew Lee, John Kroeger, Richard Miller, F.W. Johnson, Arthur Williams and George Gallantine. Lona Richards was born in New York state in August 1864 and died at Moville Iowa, December 8, 1924, aged 60 years and 4 months. She came to Iowa when 15 years of age. In February 1884 she and D.C. Bleasdell were united in marriage and to them were born nine children. Mrs. Bleasdell leaves her husband, four sons, Marion, Guy, Ernest and Vinton, all of Moville; three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Forkner of Elm Springs, South Dakota; Mrs. Mildred Farrer and Mrs. Blanche Morgan, of Moville, and a brother, Frank Richards of Genoa, Nebraska.
