Bonnie Louise Alley


Bonnie Louise Alley, age 85, of Inola, Oklahoma passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at Parks Edge Nursing Home, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Bonnie was born July 8, 1929 in Vera, Oklahoma to Luther Morgan and Lillie Marie (Pannell) Carpenter. Bonnie grew up in Osage County, but last 6 years lived in Inola.

Bonnie and Talmadge “Tom” Alley were married April 10, 1948.

Bonnie was a homemaker, a devoted wife, she loved to go to garage sales and flea markets.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Talmadge of the home; three children: Barbara Jean Stapleton and husband Raymond of Purdy, Mo, David Ray Alley and wife Lorene of Wilder, Idaho and John Paul Alley and wife Brenda of Chouteau, Oklahoma;

seven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter;

five siblings: Betty Jane Suit of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Minnie Lillian Steinberg of Broken Arrow, Luther Morgan Carpenter Jr. Skiatook, Oklahoma, Mary Ellen McCullah, and Joyce Elaine Cox both of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings: Francis Annalee Silsby and James Thomas Carpenter.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with John Alley, Barbara Stapleton and David Alley speaking.

Pall Bearers will be Chris Schouten, Douglas Hackelton, Tyler Lanham, John Alley and Dathan Alley.

Burial will be in the A.J Powell Memorial Cemetery, Hominy.

Arrangements were made with the Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
