Virginia McNiece, 84, of Russellville, departed this life on Monday, February 19, 2007 at her home.
The daughter of William and Sue Harris Bedingfield, she was born May 3, 1922 in Elkins, Arkansas.
She was a graduate of Hindsville High School and attended Central College for Women in Conway and also the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

She married Cecil McNiece on August 5, 1943 in Fayetteville. They worked side by side in the McNiece Insurance and Real Estate business in Russellville for over 30 years.
She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church where she attended the P K Merril Sunday School Class. She was a member and secretary of the Deaton-Roush Circle. In 2001 she received Special Missions Recognition from the United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Drs. Jim & Elaine McNiece, Conway, AR; two grandchildren, Dr. Karen McNiece, Houston, TX and J J McNiece, Kansas City, MO.


Funeral was held at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Mackey Yokem officiated.

Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service.
