McDaniel, Genetta Jo Winters, age 86, of Madisonville, widow of Rev. R.C. McDaniel, went home to be with the Lord 8:07 pm Sunday September 21, 2014 at East Tennessee Health Care. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She faithfully served the Lord beside her husband as a pastor's wife at Tevis Springs, Westside, Mt. Harmony, Piney Grove, and Long Ridge Baptist Churches. She was a teaching assistant at Madisonville Middle School for over 25 years. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Kay McDaniel, Tellico Plains; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jr. Bunch, Madisonville; grandchildren, Amy McDaniel-Nelson and Jeremy Nelson, Grasonville, MD, Jesse and Jody Bunch, Cookeville, TN; brother-in-law, Dave Spradlin, Madisonville; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: husband of 53 years, Rev. R.C. McDaniel, son, Johnny McDaniel, parents, Howard and Minnie Winters, brother, H.R. Winters, and sisters, Eulene Spradlin, Gernetta Watson. Funeral 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Frank Hicks, Rev. Ollie Lankford officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Haven Hill Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
