Mother _ Mary Jane Maupin
Miss Olive M. BAUSMAN (typo?) was born Dec 25, 1872 near Olathe (KS). She was the daughter of George W. BAUSMAN and Mary Jane MAUPIN. In early childhood she moved to Shawnee and remained there the rest of her life.
At age of 18 she joined the Shawnee Methodist Church and was a loyal and faithful member to her church. For 20 years Miss BAUSMAN was chief operator of the Shawnee exchange of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. When that exchange moved to Merriam eighteen years ago, she retired.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. George W. CATHEY of Shawnee; a brother Homer of the home; five nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services at Shawnee Methodist Church. Interment was in the Shawnee Cemetery.
