MISS RILLA E. JACKMAN
Miss Rilla E. Jackman died on Friday, May 2, 1958 in the Cook Convalescent Home in Bath after a long illness. She was 87 years old.
Born July 9, 1870 in Livonia, she was a daughter of George and Jane Cowles Jackman.
She was a retired professor of art and taught for 21 years at Syracuse University.
Survivors include a brother, the Rev. Ward L. Jackman of Ozone Park; three nephews, Donald Jackman of Corning, Arthur Jackman of Danvsille and Walter Jackman of North Cohocton.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Bond Funeral Home in Bath with Rev. George H. Allen, Jr., officiating with burial in Temple Hill cemetery in Geneseo.
